Chaundra Taswell,
Director of Program Development

In 1996 Mrs. Chaundra Taswell received her B.S. degree in Technology Management from the University of Maryland and is currently enrolled in a Masters of Occupational Studies program through Old Dominion University, Virginia. In 1999 she became the area Director of newly implemented programs for Junior Achievement of Fayetteville, North Carolina. During this period, she was instrumental in implementing business economic programs that teach students about the business enterprise in over seven local middle schools, and developed several school and business partnerships. This program grew to reach over 1000 students in the Fayetteville area. She was also appointed to work with the local Workforce Development Board and issues involving at risk students between the ages of 14 and 18 and is currently working as an Education Counselor at the Ft. Lee Education Center.

Mrs. Taswell volunteers and participates in numerous community service activities and is very involved in coordinating parent, teacher and student activities within the local schools, serving in several capacities such as President, Vice President, Secretary, and Fundraiser Chairperson of the Parent Teacher Organization as well as an Assistant Girl Scout Leader. She currently holds the position of the 4-H Area Representative for Prince George County, Virginia and is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. She is married to CW5 Alvin Taswell who is stationed at Fort Lee, Virginia. They have two daughters, Shabree and Jorday.
