Habitat for Humanity

On March 15, 2008, a few high school students, members of Pi Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and Terry Owens (President and C.E.O. of COEFI) worked together with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville.

Construction Center Resource Coordinator, Ms. Sharri Zink, along with Mike helped manage the project.

 

 

 

"The Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville affiliate begain in 1985. Since then, over 5,000 volunteers have worked alonside families to complete 250 Habitat homes in Louisville, Kentucky, sheltering 277 adults and 519 children." (www.louisvillehabitat.org)
